L’\u00e9conomie<\/a> guin\u00e9enne repose essentiellement sur le secteur agricole, qui fait vivre la moiti\u00e9 de la population, et sur le secteur minier qui g\u00e9n\u00e8re 70% des revenus du pays. La Guin\u00e9e d\u00e9tient pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 des r\u00e9serves mondiales de bauxite.<\/div>\n

La croissance \u00e9conomique a connu une baisse, enregistrant un taux de 2,9% en 2013, en raison de la baisse de la production du secteur minier, la mise en retard du programme de r\u00e9formes structurelles du Gouvernement et du fait de la situation sociopolitique difficile. Selon le FMI, un taux de croissance de pr\u00e8s de 5,2% est pr\u00e9vu en 2014.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
La priorit\u00e9 du gouvernement en 2014 vise \u00e0 augmenter les investissements publics, poursuivre le programme de r\u00e9formes structurelles pour supporter une croissance diversifi\u00e9e et inclusive et pr\u00e9parer l\u2019\u00e9conomie \u00e0 un possible essor minier, am\u00e9liorer le climat des affaires en clarifiant le cadre institutionnel des agences et minist\u00e8res en charge de la promotion des investissements, r\u00e9duire l\u2019incertitude sur l\u2019environnement l\u00e9gal, promouvoir de nouveaux investissements et la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019un code des march\u00e9s publics.<\/div>\n

Le pays affiche une situation sanitaire et sociale inqui\u00e9tante. Le ch\u00f4mage est un probl\u00e8me pr\u00e9occupant qui touche particuli\u00e8rement les jeunes. Plus de 55% de la population vit sous le seuil de pauvret\u00e9.<\/div>\n
