Les ivoiriens s’appr\u00eatent ce samedi \u00e0 \u00e9lire un nouveau pr\u00e9sident parmi quatre candidats le pr\u00e9sident Ouattara (78 ans), l\u2019ancien pr\u00e9sident Henri Konan B\u00e9di\u00e9 (86 ans), chef du principal parti d\u2019opposition, Pascal Affi N\u2019Guessan (67 ans), ancien Premier ministre de Laurent Gbagbo et un ind\u00e9pendant, Kouadio Konan Bertin (51 ans).
L’\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle ivoirienne se d\u00e9roule dans un climat de haute tension caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par des violences provoqu\u00e9es par la candidature du pr\u00e9sident sortant Alassane Ouattara dont la candidature pour un troisi\u00e9me mandat est contest\u00e9e par l’opposition. Une candidature jug\u00e9e d’anticonstitutionnelle. Ses d\u00e9tracteurs ont appel\u00e9 leur partisans \u00e0 la \u00ab d\u00e9sob\u00e9issance civile \u00bb.
Avant son coup d’Etat constitutionnel, Ouattara a bien pris le soin d’\u00e9carter ses principaux rivaux en poussant le Conseil Constitutionnel \u00e0 disqualifier l\u2019ancien pr\u00e9sident Laurent Gbagbo, 75 ans, et l\u2019ex-chef de la r\u00e9bellion et ancien Premier ministre Guillaume Soro, 48 ans. Malgr\u00e9 qu’ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 contraints \u00e0 l’exile, la popularit\u00e9 de Gbagbo et Soro fait des soucis dans les rangs du pr\u00e9sdient “putchiste”.
La communaut\u00e9 internationale a exprim\u00e9 ses craintes de voir une r\u00e9p\u00e9tition du sc\u00e9nario de 2010 dont les affrontements ethniques ont laiss\u00e9 plus de 3000 morts. Une intervention militaire mandat\u00e9e par Nicolas Sarkozy a inclin\u00e9 la bascule en faveur de Ouattara qui, dix ans apr\u00e8s, tente encore de rester au pouvoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
