La Lituanie a toujours d\u00e9fendu le droit du peuple sahraoui \u00e0 l’autod\u00e9termination. Ce pays consid\u00e9re le Sahara Occidental comme territoire non – autonome sous occupation marocaine.<\/p>\n

Lors des consultations sur le Sahara Occidental \u00e0 l’ONU, la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation lituanienne s’est toujours montr\u00e9e intransigeante sur cette question. Ce pays a toujours d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 les violations des droits de l’Homme (arrestations arbitraires, d\u00e9tentions, non enregistrement des associations), et d\u00e9fendu le droit d’associations et de libert\u00e9 d’expression.<\/p>\n

Les repr\u00e9sentant du Makhzen qui se sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9s \u00e0 l’ONU – Mezouar, Loulichki et maintenant Hilale – ont vainement tent\u00e9 de changer la position de ce pays.<\/p>\n

Ils recevaient toujours une r\u00e9ponse claire et sans \u00e9quivoque: ” Les instructions sur le Sahara Occidental viennent directement de la capitale, et la Mission n’a aucun moyen de les influencer, la Lituanie tient au principe du droit \u00e0 l’autod\u00e9termination ….”.<\/p>\n
