Athar Khan aspirait au poste d’Envoy\u00e9 Personnel du Secr\u00e9taire G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’ONU pour le Sahara Occidental. Pour r\u00e9aliser ses desseins, il comptait utiliser la diplomatie marocaine \u00e0 travers l’ancien ambassadeur du Maroc \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, Omar Hilale, qui repr\u00e9sente actuellement son pays aupr\u00e8s des Nations Unies \u00e0 New York.<\/div>\n

Il faisait semblant de se livrer \u00e0 des \u00ab confidences amicales \u00bb en apportant des informations qui n’\u00e9taient que des grossiers mensonges \u00e0 l’instar de ce qu’il a racont\u00e9 sur Mhamed Khadad, le coordinateur du Polisario avec la MINURSO. C’est lui qui a qualifi\u00e9 M. Ross d’alcoolique.<\/div>\n
